Here is the general voter suppression blog.
Early voting started in a lot of the States this week and we are already seeing long lines in most of the corrupt, racist Republican controlled southern states.
People standing 12 hours in line to vote in predominantly democratic areas of Texas is a very common occurrence.
This blog will try to list some of the more blatant voter suppression efforts in Texas by the criminal, racist, unpatriotic Republican party.
Is the GOP voter suppression backfiring?
The outrageous voter suppression efforts by Texas Republicans are backfiring by motivating voters to turn out in record numbers to defend their voting rights, especially in Harris County. That’s one of biggest stories from Texas in 2020 https://t.co/VUS3PeSAvI

Democracy hating GOP criminals (DeJoy and others) crippled the USPS system to steal the election by suppressing the votes
This is true of all swing states where they are facing major delays in returning ballots on time, USPS data shows.

Philadelphia: 43%
Detroit: 53%
Northern Ohio: 56%
South Florida: 63%
Trump and DeJoy have throttled the US mail in key Democratic strongholds. It is now too late to trust the mail in states that require ballots by Nov. 3.
A federal judge ordered the U.S. Postal Service to implement “extraordinary measures” in 22 districts across the U.S. — including several in battleground states — where on-time delivery of ballots has dipped below a rate of 90% for two days this week. https://t.co/7gJAYYgPXG

America.

Don't accept this.
This was Trump and DeJoy's plan all along. https://t.co/3v1TOnx3Cp
Given Supreme Court rulings on mail ballots and Trump's effort to undermine the Postal Service, I strongly suggest that you now vote in person - try early voting or find a drop box. Protect your health but don’t let anyone deprive you of your most precious right. Have a plan.

GOP and KKK terrorists run Biden / Harris bus off the road
Their criminal intimidation forced Biden to cancel events in Texas. This is not seen in a stable democracy
I don’t care what party you are, this is beyond uncivilized behavior — it’s terrifying. https://t.co/uxC1xbZQ8x

Good! “The Federal Bureau of Investigation is looking into a Friday incident in which a group of Trump supporters, driving trucks and waving Trump flags, surrounded and followed a Biden campaign bus.”

GOP's criminal and umdemocratic efforts to NOT count 127,000+ votes in a heavily democratic area (Harris county)
Again, not seen in a democracy. Third world dictators are known to do these kinds of things.

Denial is without comment.
I've said it before: this is the Rubicon. This is the bell that can't be unrung. If Republicans openly set themselves to destroying valid American ballots to help Trump win, it'll send America into a dark new phase of its existence—and will eventually cause the demise of the GOP. https://t.co/0698Kaud9s

The all-Republican Texas Supreme Court has denied a GOP-led petition to toss nearly 127,000 ballots already cast at drive-thru voting places in the Houston area. A federal judge is expected to rule on the same issue on Monday. https://t.co/IaYi9EgFCC

Texas Republicans have asked a federal judge to throw out 100,000 ballots in Harris County cast through curbside voting. They drew Judge Andrew Hanen, one of the most notoriously partisan Republican judges in the entire federal judiciary. This is alarming. https://t.co/VODOZrCoUF

🔥Holy hell—People voted curbside in GOOD FAITH out of FEAR OF PERSONAL SAFETY during #COVID19 pandemic. Now their curbside votes might be invalidated by a partisan judge in Texas. Sickening. This is how democracy dies. https://t.co/Vn6YJhUkeW

Just got a report from an early voter in East Dallas. She said only 1 in 6 voting machines are working at the Samuell-Grand Rec Center. While you can vote early at any early vote site in Dallas, the Congressional District where this site is located is 80% Black & Hispanic.

Use the racist, criminal, unpatriotic judges appointed by racist Republicans to suppress the minority votes
BREAKING: 5th Cir. upholds Texas having only one ballot drop box per county.
— Josh Douglas (@JoshuaADouglas) October 13, 2020
Implausibly, the court finds that the Tex. Gov's decision *expands* the right to vote instead of *restricts* it.
Up is down.
Here is the opinion: https://t.co/KyF0sgOXTN https://t.co/F1c74f0Ar8
Harris County (with 4.7 million people and the racially diverse city of Houston) opened 12 drop off ballot locations.
— Keith Boykin (@keithboykin) October 13, 2020
Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott shut down 11 of them.
Three Trump-appointed judges on the Fifth Circuit just allowed him to do it. https://t.co/F7N0qjw0Ps
Multnomah County alone - Oregon’s largest county with 818,000 people - has 30 ballot drop boxes open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
