Blog Post Updated: Nov 1st, 2020
Early voting started in a lot of the States this week and we are already seeing long lines in most of the corrupt, racist Republican controlled southern states.
People standing 12 hours in line to vote in predominantly democratic areas of these Republican states is a very common occurrence.
This blog will try to list some of the more blatant voter suppression efforts by the criminal, racist, unpatriotic Republican party.
Final thoughts
My last column for @thedailybeast until after the election.

GOP only wins elections by suppressing the democratic vote or not counting the democratic votes
Since 1988, Republicans have won the popular vote in a presidential election just once, in 2004. Their future depends on suppressing your vote. Don’t let them.

Just to be clear: they don’t want to start counting the votes before Nov 3. They don’t want to count the vote if the ballots arrive after Nov 3. They want you to vote by dangerously waiting in line with others on a day you can’t take off from work or by mail using a strained USPS
— Ayman Mohyeldin (@AymanM) October 27, 2020
If there was really a big concern about ballots being counted AFTER Election Day then you’d also see those who are concerned advocating for on-time processing ballots received prior to ED, along with an upping of resources for mail delivery prior to ED. They argue against both.

Many ways the Republicans suppress the vote
The @GOP’s idea of “democracy”:
— Gavin Newsom (@GavinNewsom) October 14, 2020
- Closing polling places
- Limiting ballot drop offs
- Confusing voters with fake ballot drop boxes
- Sabotaging the Census
- Pushing through a Supreme Court nominee weeks before an election

Democracy hating GOP criminals (DeJoy and others) crippled the USPS system to steal the election by suppressing the votes
This is true of all swing states where they are facing major delays in returning ballots on time, USPS data shows.
Then the courts packed with Racist GOP judges rules against the minorities (MN)
