Here is the general voter suppression blog.
This blog will try to list some of the more blatant voter suppression efforts attempted in Mississippi by the criminal, racist, unpatriotic Republican party.
Voter Suppression by making it harder for minorities to vote
BREAKING: Election officials in Madison County quietly rezoned 2,000 Black & Hispanic voters out of a majority white precinct into an already-majority Black one.

Now, 3,670 mostly non-white voters must share 25 parking spaces and five voting machines. https://t.co/1onI4PQwhQ
NOTE: As Secretary of State Michael Watson notes here, @MississippiSOS is NOT in charge of relocating polling places.

Mississippi is a bottom-up state for elections/voting, not top-down.
Local elections are important! (Supervisors, circuit clerks, election commissioners, etc). https://t.co/45bCXLMmIP

Voter suppression efforts by the GOP (Senate candidate loves voter suppression and public hangings of black people)
"If he invited me to a public hanging, I'd be on the front row"- Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith says in Tupelo, MS after Colin Hutchinson, cattle rancher, praises her.

After legislative leadership killed the last attempts at expanding voting access in #Mississippi during the #COVID19 pandemic, lawmakers are raising alarms that failure to prevent overcrowded polling places in November could have a deadly cost. #mselex https://t.co/7rGRvixIy1 pic.twitter.com/Bk16hUAdvV

No early voting. Serious limits to who is permitted a mail-in absentee ballot. Now no masks required at polls in a pandemic. Sounds like more voter suppression to me, Mississippi. Long racist history of this here and def not surprising—but still absolutely disgusting. https://t.co/Er46QoGRY4

Mississippi election commissioner: "I'm concerned about voter registration in Mississippi," the commissioner wrote. "The blacks are having lots (of) events for voter registration. People in Mississippi have to get involved, too." https://t.co/m4p7iWpMN2
